Board of Trustee Minutes 05/15/02013

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Delhi was held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Boardroom.

Present:           Deputy Mayor             Gregory Krzyston

Trustees          Jeremy Fitch, Gerry Pilgrim, Chris Maney

Guests            David Curley and Nelson Bradshaw

The meeting started with the Pledge of Allegiance at 5:30 p.m.

David Curley indicated the reason for this meeting was that he needs additional funding for the Sewer Specialty work as a result of the cleaning and video inspecting of the work with Sewer Specialty.  There are lateral cracks in the clay pipes that were installed in the 70s.  Dave originally felt that we needed 6 liners to remedy this current situation but he has identified an additional pipe located at Bridge & Main Street that needs a liner also.

Sewer Specialty has indicated that the liners would be at a cost of $2,300 each (same as we paid in 2011).  Calculation would be for 7 liners @ $2,300 = $16,100.  Sewer Specialty indicated there is a newer liner that is a little cheaper but longer installation and not sure if it would work for the Village.  David Curley asked that the board approve the amount not to exceed the $16,100.

Motion was made by Trustee Ayres to approve for time and materials not to exceed $16,100.     Motion was seconded by Trustee Fitch and passed unanimously.

Motion was made by Trustee Fitch to adjourn.   Motion was seconded by Trustee Ayres.

Meeting adjourned at 5:50 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Kimberly Cairns

Deputy Clerk
